Welcome to Buenos Aires Tango Guide

AboutMeBanner01c_edited.jpg

This website is addressing friends of Tango Argentino from all over the world. We would like to share our passion for Tango and our experiences from regularly visiting Buenos Aires and help everyone visiting the city to enjoy a wonderful stay here.

This website is a non-profit-project: We are not pursuing any commercial intentions. Our motivation is to support all those who maintain and develop the culture of tango in Buenos Aires and connect them with the world-wide tango community no matter whether one is planning to visit Buenos Aires or simply wants to know what is going on in the World Capital of Tango. Since we owe life and tango in Buenos Aires an infinite number of happy moments in our lives, this is our way of expressing our gratitude and giving something back.

My passion for tango started in 1984 in Berlin. Since 2010 I have come every year to Buenos Aires and meanwhile spend almost half of the year there. Since 2022 I am writing reports about Tango and Life in BA which I am happy to present now on this website.

Since discovering Tango in Buenos Aires 2008, I have been captivated by the intensity of its music, its movements, and its emotional depth. This experience inspired me to translate the world of Tango into my art.
